Bounce Auction Launches Masters of Time, A Biweekly Auction Series of High-End Watches

The era of using crypto to buy or bid on real-world collectibles is here, and Bounce is leading the charge. We’re not just innovating onchain auction mechanisms — we’re expanding what can be auctioned onchain, from tokens, NFTs to tangible items.

Over the past years, Bounce has successfully hosted a few onchain auctions of iconic real-world masterpieces, including the Diamond Hand Necklace, Claude Monet’s Paysage painting, the Pumpkin bronze sculpture by Yayoi Kusama. And we’re just getting started — one of Bounce’s goals for 2025 is to make tangible luxury collectibles more accessible to everyone through blockchain technologies.

To bring that vision into sharper focus, we’ve launched Bounce Auction, a new branch under the Bounce umbrella dedicated to making real-world collectible auctions available onchain to a global audience.

Kicking off this initiative, Bounce Auction is rolling out Masters of Time, a biweekly watch auction series that offers the opportunity to own a high-end watch with just 5 AUCTION tokens. How Masters of Time Works

Every two weeks, a high-end watch (Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe etc.) will go up for grabs on Bounce’s app through our onchain lottery auction executed by smart contracts.

Here’s how each auction works:

• Entry Tickets: Anyone can join by purchasing lottery entry tickets. Each ticket costs 5 AUCTION tokens..
• Unlimited Entries: There is no cap on the number of tickets a single wallet can purchase. You can buy as many tickets as you’d like.
• Open for One Week: Each lottery remains open for one week, giving users time to enter.
• Winner Selection: After the entry period closes, our smart contract leverages Chainlink’s oracle services and random number generator to randomly select one winning ticket. The winner is announced the following day.
• Probability: The more tickets you purchase, the higher your chance of winning — similar to a traditional lottery.

If your ticket wins:

• You will receive an NFT that serves as digital proof of ownership of the watch.
• To claim the physical watch, you’ll need to attend Bounce’s Token 2049 Singapore event and present the NFT to us.
• The NFT is transferable, meaning you can also choose to sell or trade the ownership before claiming the watch.

The Masters of Time series will kick off with the first auction featuring an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding watch, a refined evolution of AP’s iconic Royal Oak collection.
